Storm Guard is the nation’s 1st exterior restoration franchise company. Storm Guard has assisted over 11,000 customers with replacement of roofing, siding, window and gutter projects resulting from hail or wind damage. Our work is done at the cost of the insurance industry, not the customers themselves. Our program only requires customers to pay their insurance deductible for our services and nothing more. We negotiate the total job costs with our customer’s insurance carrier and then complete the scope of work. Storm Guard also does non-insurance paid general construction as well.
Unlike fire and flood restoration companies specializing in interior restoration, Storm Guard focuses not just on the removal of damaged items but in the actual replacing of materials and products to the homes/businesses exterior. This is an emerging area for the hugely popular restoration category and is the first of its kind.

Function of the owner/daily tasks:
The owner is NOT focused on doing the actual roofing, siding, etc., but rather the management of employees and salespeople. Daily tasks include interviewing, hiring, training, quality inspecting, scheduling, collection, etc. The ultimate goal of our model is for an owner to build, manage, and operate as the CEO. Our owners work on the business, not in it.

I can also help you find funding partners that will help you obtain a loan. The two major SBA loans are: 1) The Express Loan which is used for home based franchises, is up to $150,000, requires and 10% cash injection, and no collateral. 2) A standard loan that can be used for non-home based franchises, is up to $5 million, requires a 20%-30% cash injection, and requires collateral. For either of these loans, the rates are prime +2.75% (currently totaling 6%) and if you are funded before September 27, 2020 then the government will pay for the first 6 months of your loan- they are doing this to encourage entrepreneurship during the corona virus pandemic.
